It's time to get ship-shape and ready to sail for the 2015 Oregon Heritage Conference<http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/HCD/OHC/Pages/Conference.aspx>.

The conference will take place April 22-24 in the Coos Bay area and include a bounty of unique tours, hands-on workshops, informative seminars, and warm hospitality. There will even be a specially designed activity you can do on your travels to the conference.

Whether you want to add power to your programming, engage with your community, revitalize an organization, engage with tourists, prepare for a disaster, improve digitization, or create new appreciation for Oregon heritage in its many forms, you will want to attend.

Use your spyglass and take a peek at the conference schedule. An engaging keynote talk, cutting-edge research expositions, and meeting colleagues from across the state are other important benefits for attending. The inspiring Oregon Heritage Excellence Awards will take place on the evening of April 23.

The Oregon Heritage Conference will take place at several locations, with The Mill Hotel and Casino as the conference headquarters. The conference is organized by Oregon Heritage. The Coquille Indian Tribe is co-sponsor.

Conference registration will be available later this month. A special conference lodging rate is available at The Mill Casino Hotel.
