2023 Oregon Heritage Summit - Register now to get a packet mailed to you!
Not sure if you heard BUT the 2023 Oregon Heritage VIRTUAL Summit, Investing in Your Volunteers: Engage, Sustain, Value<https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/OH/Pages/Heritage-Summit.aspx>, happening April 27-28 only costs $5 to attend this year.
Not only will participants get two days of conversation, discussion, practical takeaways, and more, but if you register before April 9 you can also get a really awesome Summit packet in the mail. Just because our 2023 Summit is online does not mean we can't send you fun stuff to help you prepare for AND enjoy during the event. The packet includes, but is not limited to, snacks, recipes, surprises, and more for the big event April 27-28.
In addition to these awesome packets, featured Summit events include:
* Groundbreaker Speakers Emily Dobish and Maria Isla-Lopez will facilitate conversation around the importance of centering community engagement when thinking about volunteer strategies
* Panel discussions hearing from Oregon volunteer managers AND Oregon heritage volunteers
* A practical workshop on Developing Volunteerism conducted by University of Kansas Community Toolbox
* Raffle items such as mini grants for volunteer appreciation and other resources
* And (of course) networking opportunities!
So be sure to register<https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/OH/Pages/Heritage-Summit.aspx> as soon as possible so you don't miss out on some of the fun extras for the event.
We hope you will join us and if you have any questions please contact Katie Henry at katie.henry at oprd.oregon.gov.
