[Hist_Pres] Fostering Harmony Opening Reception and Demonstration

The Architectural Heritage Center invites everyone to these two events
centered around the juried art exhibit, "Fostering Harmony:  The Symbiotic
Relationship of Architecture and Nature.  All events take place at the AHC,
701 SE Grand Ave., Portland and are free to the public.  
 
Friday, 11/5 6pm-8:30pm:  Opening Reception
6:45: Artist Introductions, Juror Comments, and Announcement of Jury Awards
 
 
Wednesday, 11/10 6pm-7:30pm
Artist Patrick Gracewood will demonstrate carving architectural ornament.
He will show examples of finished artwork and work in process, while
discussing his 30 years as a sculptor.  Tools and carving materials will be
available for those interested in learning how to carve.  Come dressed
appropriately and ready to have some fun!  Light refreshments will be
served.
