[Hist_Pres] Celebrate Oregon statehood at the Museum of the Oregom Territory Saturday, Feb. 12

History lovers - lovers of all sorts - are invited to Clackamas County
Historical Society (CCHS) 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, when the Museum
of the Oregon Territory (MOOT) opens for the day in observance of Oregon’s 152nd
anniversary of statehood.
Also, the Clackamas County
Family History Society will have a book sale and a wine tasting will is offered
in the Tumwater Room, the special event venue that overlooks the historic
Willamette Falls.
CCHS, where Oregon's story is told, is located at 211 Tumwater Drive,
Oregon City. CCHS is a nonprofit institution established in 1952. It is
dedicated to providing historical information and maintaining two museum
buildings (Museum of the Oregon Territory and the Stevens Crawford House) with
ongoing and special occasion exhibits open to the public on a limited schedule.
Admission is $5 for nonmembers or free with membership renewal or purchase.
