[Hist_Pres] Preservation tax incentives video

National Park Service director Jon Jarvis recently appeared in
a video highlighting the Historic Preservation Tax Incentives.
 
Shot at the Atlas Theater on H Street, NW in Washington, DC, this short
film features the theater as a prime example of how the program can
revitalize abandoned and deteriorated buildings and spark growth and
economic opportunity in a whole neighborhood. The Atlas Theater is a
focal
point in an area now known as the “Atlas District.”
 
The NPS experience with this project is repeated in many other
communities
across the country. The program has leveraged over $58 billion in
private
investment in over 37,000 historic properties since 1976.
