Grounds Maintenance Featured at CAO conference Friday, April 2, 2010 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
You can go to the CAO website at the www.cemeteryassociationoforegon.com to see the program and print off the registration form and mail in with your payment. You may also pay with VISA!
Please remember to bring your hard hat, work gloves, ear protection, eye protection and work boots with you for a little friendly competition! Which cemetery will take home the "Golden Boot Award"? Also raffle prizes will be given away!

Seeking proposals - DEADLINE 1 May, 2010
Send submissions or questions to dying2know.2010 at ymail.com, using "Dying to Know Proposal" in the subject line.
Proposals should include:
Speaker's full name, telephone, address, fax and email
Lecture title and a brief outline
Short summary of the lecture
Equipment needed
Speaker biography (25 words)
Sessions are limited to 45 min. Syllabus materials (PDF files) are due July 1, 2010.
Heritage Tourism Award Nominations Sought
The year of 2009 was one of extraordinary accomplishment by many in
Oregon's tourism and hospitality industry, and on April 11 the best of
the best will be saluted by their peers at the 2010 Oregon Governor's
Conference on Tourism in Bend.
Seven awards will be presented to individuals, businesses,
organizations, communities and tourism regions for their outstanding
programs, promotions, products, events, attractions and contributions.
The purpose and eligibility standards for all seven, along with
conference information and registration, is available at

Mission Mill Museum was the recipient of last year's heritage tourism
