The Lone Fir Cemetery Foundation would love to have you join us on April 30 at Oregon Historical Society.

There is a small section of the Portland exhibition that references Lone Fir Cemetery. Certainly Block 14 at Lone Fir, which was designated for burials of Chinese workers employed by the Suburban Railway company, has resulted in our interest in and passion for Chinese history in Oregon.

Lunch and Tour at Oregon Historical Society: April 30
Exploring Lone Fir Cemetery's strong connection to Chinese history
The Lone Fir Cemetery Foundation will host its first 1866 Society event for the year. Enjoy lunch provided by Lung Fung restaurant followed by a tour led by board members Rebecca Liu and Marcus Lee, who both worked on the creation of Beyond the Gate: A Tale of Portland's Historic Chinatowns.

1:15 p.m. Tour on the first floor

Tickets can be purchased through the link below for $10.00 or you can join us for free if you are a current member of the 1866 Society ($66.00 donation). Donations to Lone Fir will not be accepted at OHS so please reserve your space by Monday, April 25, through the link below.
