CALLING ALL HISTORIC CEMETERY LEADERS FOR STATEWIDE CEMETERY CLEANUP DAY!
Cemeteries are included in the 2017 SOLVE Beach and Riverside Cleanup presented by the Oregon Lottery September 23, 2017, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries is partnering with SOLVE to bring cemetery cleanup days into their excellent statewide day of service.
Register by July 1 to have your cemetery included as a work site for the September 23 event. As the organization and project leader, you can get support from SOLVE including:
*         Project planning assistance and coordinator training.
*         Event flyers and pre-event publicity, assistance with recruitment, online registration, and placement of volunteers.
*         Free cleanup supplies including litter bags, vinyl gloves, safety vests, first aid kits, and more.
*         Access to a small grant of up to $100 for project expenses.
