Nutrition Education Services/Oregon Dairy Council (ODC) announces a
funding opportunity for nutrition education projects through the 2007
Youth Nutrition Education Grant Program.  ODC seeks proposals for
nutrition education programs that empower kids to be advocates for
healthy eating and active lifestyles.  A maximum of $5000 in grant
monies will be awarded to between one and five organizations or
individuals. Applicants are encouraged to design program proposals for
school-aged children that will be implemented within the school
community (public or private schools, before- or after-school programs,
community schools, day camps).  Collaboration with schools or
community-based initiatives will receive full consideration.Applications
