The President's budget was released today.  He proposed a $1 billion increase for Part B.  The education budget is posted on OMB's website at http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2005/education.html.  The following are some of the education programs that are proposed to be zeroed out:

*       State Grants for Incarcerated Youth Offenders/Literacy Programs for Prisoners

*       Projects with Industry
*       Supported Employment State Grants
*       Carl D. Perkins
