STACK SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR
	Multnomah County Library (Portland, Oregon) seeks a Stacks
Services Administrator for its Central Library.  The Stacks Services
Administrator oversees check-in, shelving, pulling holds, location and
retrieval of materials, and staffing of five public service desks at the
Central Library.  The Central Library is open seven days a week, and
serves an average of 2600 customers daily.  Annually Stacks Services
checks in and shelves about three million items, and pulls 250,000
holds. This position supervises the work of 52 staff through two
subordinate supervisors and three lead workers.  Salary is $47,877 to
