Hi gang,

Thanks to everyone who responded with their handouts. I heard from a great many libraries. A number of people asked me to share the responses, so here they are.

I took the handouts and combined them into one document. It is categorized by storytime audience. Some of the handouts were very specific to the library using the document... so I tried my best to make them more generic so folks can take and adapt easily. To give credit where credit is due, I listed the developing libraries at the close of the document. Let me know if you have any questions.

Also, I included a document developed by Carroll County.. retrieved from their wonderful wiki: http://wiki.carr.org/traction?type=multi&proj=EmergentLiteracy&sort=0&stickyparams=sort&title=Parent%2dCaregiver%20Connection&rec=EmergentLiteracy22&find=(t%20content) <- thanks to Kiera for the recommendation.

Happy Friday!

Hi gang,

I'm preparing a short workshop on "Storytime Best Practices" for local library staff and I would like to share some different handouts folks use for establishing parent/caregiver expectations during storytimes. I recall seeing some such documents being shared in the past. If you have an electronic document of this sort easily within reach, would you mind sharing it with me? I would be forever in your debt!

Best wishes and HAPPY NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK!!!!
