As part of the Oregon Book Awards, Literary Arts offers a special award that recognize significant contributions to Oregon's children's and young adult literary culture. The winner last year was Oregon Battle of the Books and other past winners are listed at the bottom of this email to get you thinking about a program, organization, or person who has made a significant contribution to the literary lives of Oregon youth.

The Walt Morey Young Readers Literary Legacy Award is presented to a person or organization in recognition of significant contributions that have enriched Oregon's young readers.

Nominee must be a full-time, living Oregon resident.
