[kids-lib] Story Time Room

The "perfect" storytime room:

Bulletin board walls covered with material so you can take displays and felt characters off and on
Storage for craft supplies (cabinets, drawers, tubs, etc.)
Puppet stage
Sound system
Overhead screen and projector
The entry door is located so that late comers enter from the back of the room.
The presenter is located at the front of the room, back to a wall with no windows.

Hi Everyone,

The Lebanon library is thinking about adding a separate space dedicated to story times.  The space would be a separate room used for story/craft time, baby story time, and various programs for elementary aged kids.  I would like to find out what you have found to be successful elements of your storytime rooms.  I would also like to know what you would do differently if you could in your space.
