*Do you set your GoodReads goal by the 100s? Love debating the merits of
your favorite illustrators? Glued to Litsy? Professional #bookstagrammer?
Join us on the Mock Caldecott Committee!*

*What we need from you:*

- Commitment to reading/assessing as many illustrated children’s
books as you can published in 2018

- (Roughly) Bi-weekly contributions to online discussion and book
selection

- Attendance and discussion moderation at the 2018 CSD Mock
Caldecott Workshop on Saturday, January 12th at the Springfield Public
Library in Springfield, Oregon

- Help creating the agenda for the workshop, finding presenters,
etc.

*What we will provide:*

- Guided, online discussion and preparation for the workshop using
Google+

- Schedule, with both soft and hard deadlines and activities, for
the 2018 reading year, culminating in the January Mock Workshop

- Emotional, mental, and professional support from the CSD
Mock Workshop
Chair, to the best of her abilities!

We are looking for about 3 more people who can contribute to this process
online throughout the 2018 year. All work will be virtual until the day of
the workshop, which will be in-person in Springfield, Oregon. Ideally,
participants should be able to check in with the group on a bi-weekly basis
to stay apprised of group discussion, new books to review, etc.

Please contact Taylor Worley if you are interested in being part of the
committee. Thank you!
