Hi folks,
Please check out the following summer reading resources, Starnet has an awesome database of space-related activities! Also, the Social media toolkit has some sample posts that could be easily edited to focus on your particular community, these may also be useful.

Take advantage of 2019 summer learning resources at https://www.starnetlibraries.org/summer-of-space/ and to register to gain access to a number of giveaways such as NASA tactile books, Scholastic books (including the Luciana Vega series), and even some Orion telescopes. Public libraries can officially register to participate in STAR Net’s Summer of Space www.starnetlibraries.org/Summer-of-space<http://www.starnetlibraries.org/Summer-of-space> campaign in collaboration with CSLP’s A Universe of Stories summer learning program.

A social media toolkit is attached to this message. The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), the STAR Library Network (STAR Net) with its NASA@ My Library program, and NASA have created a virtual launch pad filled with many STEM resources, activities, and training opportunities that libraries can utilize to help inspire children of all ages to dream big, believe in themselves, and create their own story. This summer learning program will coincide with NASA’s 60 years of achievement and its celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing.

This will be a great opportunity to celebrate space science, with fun, hands-on and multimedia activities.
