Hello Great Brain of KidsLib,

For the last few years I've been intentionally looking for (and reading and sharing in booklists) Christmas picture books featuring protagonists of color/indigenous protagonists. I'm particularly interested in "Own Voices" books (main character is part of a marginalized group, written by a person of that marginalized group), but I did include other books in my list, although I've divided them up.

So I'm sharing my list with you, hoping you will share titles I've missed with me, or if you have concerns about titles on the list, please let me know that too.

As far as children's chapter books go, anyone have ideas? I love LOVE The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street by Karina Yan Glaser, especially the audio performed by Robin Miles. But that's all I've got, so I could really use help on that one if you have ideas.
