The Deschutes Public Library Youth Services Manager application deadline has been extended to October 25.

The Youth Services Manager position is an exciting leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating and managing library services and creative programming for Deschutes Public Library's young residents age 0 to 17, their caregivers and families as well as services and programming for all ages of the Library's Latinx communities.   Primary duties include developing and implementing dynamic youth services strategies and supervising community librarians that provide services to promote reading and early literacy, lifelong learning, readers' advisory and youth-oriented outreach.  Primary duties for supervising Latinx coordinators that serve all ages are similar with the addition of some adult-oriented services and outreach.   Must demonstrate success in a number of areas such as leadership, team development, effective communication and collaboration, excellent customer service, change management and inspiring innovation.
Starting monthly salary range is $6,115.60 - $6,488.04 with an excellent benefits package.
