[kids-lib] CSD Election Nominations

[CSD Chair]

Passionate about serving children in libraries? Thrive on advocating for
children and literacy? Are you interested in impacting children’s library
services and programming? If you answered yes to any of those questions or
know someone who would, then consider nominating yourself or them for the
OLA, Children’s Services Division Board. During these exceptional times, we
especially need to have active library support. CSD is seeking nominations
for Incoming Chair (or Co-Chairs if two people are interested) and
Secretary for the upcoming 2020-2021 year. Please contact Jane Corry with

Duties:

Incoming Chair (elected position): The primary responsibilities of the
Incoming Chair are to advocate for CSD members as a member of the OLA
Annual Conference Program Committee; to coordinate CSD’s annual fundraising
activity (typically held concurrently with the Spring CSD Member Workshop);
and to support and learn from the current Chair and Past Chair. Incoming
Chair is a three year commitment.

Secretary (appointed position): Attend and take notes during the Fall and
Spring board meetings and workshops. Assist with registration and auction
when needed. Contribute content to the Facebook page two months out of the
year.
