Hello everyone,

Welcome to Monday! I hope you had a relaxing weekend. I finished reading a grown up book, Yaa Gyasi's Transcendent Kingdom<https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/yaa-gyasis-transcendent-kingdom-is-a-book-of-blazing-brilliance/2020/08/25/718fd326-e60a-11ea-97e0-94d2e46e759b_story.html>, and found myself so sad it was coming to an end I savored the remaining chapters very very slowly...I hope you are reading good things! The Mock Pura Belpré happening Thursday<https://www.deschuteslibrary.org/services/servicios-latinos/mockpura> has an awesome list of titles, if your patience is running low these days, a picture book may be just what you need! Please register if you are planning to attend - it's free but registration is required.

Also this week, tomorrow we're having a Virtual Programming meetup with several Oregon library staff presenting, any and all library staff are welcome at noon: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88055306717?pwd=OFZzWll2endpZnRNL3RrY0dMdFZ5QT09

Have a great week!
