Hello everyone,

We made it to Friday! This week's shout out goes to Rodrigo and Carly from Deschutes Public Library, who organized the virtual Mock Pura Belpré event, working with multiple schools ahead of time so students could also enjoy Zeke Peña's presentation.  If you missed out on yesterday morning,  take time to look at the booklist<https://www.deschuteslibrary.org/services/servicios-latinos/mockpura> if you can - I had such a hard time deciding what to vote for! They are all wonderful titles families in your libraries would enjoy! You can also watch the recording of Mr. Peña's presentation, which would be a great resource for school librarians or teachers if you'd like to share.
