Multnomah County Library is looking for creative, charismatic Bilingual Spanish Youth Librarians to join our team! We have three (3) full time positions available.

As a Bilingual Spanish Youth Librarian, you provide outstanding customer and informational service to a diverse spectrum of customers of all ages and backgrounds. You model customer service with youth, families, and caregivers that is culturally respectful and developmentally appropriate, and works to overcome systems of oppression, discrimination, exclusion, and ethnocentrism. You draw on your expertise in literature, research and other areas when providing excellent customer and informational service to youth, teens, families, educators, and care providers as well as the Spanish speaking community as a whole. You respond to information requests that are in person, over the phone, through email, via chat, social media or other virtual media in both English and Spanish in order to answer questions, locate information, provide social services, and train the public in using the library's and other agency resources, all while prioritizing accessibility for both in person and virtual services.

Salary range: $30.08-$36.91 per hour, plus a 4% bilingual premium
