[kids-lib] Friday, May 6th Shoutout

Hi all,

Whew, we made it to Friday! I want to send a shoutout today to Tillamook for highlighting suicide prevention this month: https://www.facebook.com/TillamookCountyLibrary/posts/5887937991222881 .  I'm from Washington and Kurt Cobain's heartbreaking quote has stayed with me a long while: "If my eyes could show my soul, everyone would cry when they saw me smile."  Mental health is often not something we talk about or want to acknowledge, especially when it appears on the surface things are just fine. Our collective mental health has been so battered in the last two years. Thank you all for being resources for community members but please don't forget to take good care of yourselves or ask for help when you need it - We are still in uncertain and strange times as we navigate new normals and we can all use support doing that!
