Hi all,

Many libraries are starting to plan their fall programs. If you want to offer a fun, research-based literacy program for K-3rd graders, remember Fostering Readers<https://fosteringreaders.weebly.com/>!

You’ll find the following free resources and more:

  * Ready to use literacy activity plans<https://fosteringreaders.weebly.com/streamlined-activity-plans.html>
  * Template for planning<https://fosteringreaders.weebly.com/create-your-own-activities.html> your own research based literacy activities
  *   Ideas for literacy-based passive programs<https://fosteringreaders.weebly.com/activity-stations-passive-programs.html>
  * Ideas for books clubs for beginning readers<https://fosteringreaders.weebly.com/beginning-reader-storytimes.html>
  * Handouts<https://fosteringreaders.weebly.com/get-handouts-and-more.html> for you and families

Fostering Readers was created by two children’s librarians and two certified reading specialists, and funded by a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the State Library of Oregon.

I hope you’re all having a good summer!
