Please pardon the cross-posting.

Hi Folks,

I thought I’d share a modified version of an email that I send monthly to school library staff about free webinar and conference opportunities, for those who may not know about the continuing education resources from WebJunction and the State Library.
Much of the information about this month’s webinars that are not specific to Oregon is available on this WebJunction page<https://www.webjunction.org/find-training/free-events.html>. Content is grouped by topics, including Careers, Children & Teens, Collection Development & Management, DEI, and Readers’ Advisory. Session descriptions and registration links are organized by date and are available starting about halfway down the WebJunction webpage.

There’s also the State Library LibGuide about continuing education<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/conted/>, which has a calendar of events<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/conted/free#s-lib-ctab-24120710-1>. You are welcome to bookmark those pages. WebJunction is primarily updated at the beginning of each month, and the State Library’s continuing education calendar is updated weekly.
In black text below are some highlights from the WebJunction page. Intermingled within is information specific to the K-12 Gale statewide databases (*orange) or that is related to Oregon or seems relevant but is otherwise not on the WebJunction list (+purple).
Short on time? Scan the session information below for something that jumps out at you. Also, know that many webinars will be recorded. Questions? Please ask.

Cheers,
Jen
