The following new videos and guides have been added to the State Library
collection and are available to interlibrary loan:

1. Reading Rockets: Launching Young Readers
Five 30 minute programs produced by WETA designed for teachers, parents,
caregivers, and anyone else interested in helping children learn to read.
Based on the latest research findings, the series programs explore the
stages of reading every child goes through. Each episode is hosted by
popular personalities such as Fred Rogers and features a short segment on a
prominent children's book author. Circulated as a kit with five videos and a
teacher's guide. (649.58 Readi)

2. Young Adult Service Plan for Public and School Libraries: A Training
Video by Michael Cart with Guide. North State (CA) Cooperative Library
