"The Effects of the USA Patriot Act on Oregon State University"

4 - 6 pm - May 20, 2003
MU 208, Campus


A panel discussion of the effects of the USA Patriot Act at Oregon State University will be held from four to six p.m. in La Raza Room (208) of the Memorial Union on campus, Tuesday, May 20, 2003.

Four general impacts of the Patriot Act will be presented:

	*	Library:	Bonnie Parks, Serials & Electronic Resources Librarian, Valley Library
	*	Research Grants: Rich Holdren, Vice Provost of Research
	*	International Education: Chris Sproul, Director of International Education
	*	Academic Freedom:  Rubin Landau, Professor of Physics

A question and answer period will follow the series of 15 minute presentations.
