In response to the cover article in School Library Journal this month
 on young  librarians, I have created NEXGENLIB-L, a new listserv focusing
on the next  generation of librarians.

 Discussion topics range from the future of the profession, the purpose
of  library education, defeating stereotypes and "reverse ageism" in the
 workplace.

 All are welcome, but those under age 30 are especially encouraged to
 subscribe.
