[Libs-Or] Southern Oregon EBSCO training November 13th and 14th

In mid-November EBSCO will provide four training opportunities in 
Southern Oregon.
These 2 hour sessions will include a brief overview of the latest 
enhancements
to EBSCOHost and go into detail on the redesigned EBSCOadmin.  You do 
not need
to register for the training.

Library staff who use EBSCOHost should plan to attend to learn about its 
new features, and those who handle database setup and access (e.g., 
database administrators) would benefit from the EBSCOadmin section.

The training will cover:

New Features for EBSCOhost:
Index browsing, My EBSCOhost/Personalized folder, Page Composer on
EBSCOhost, Search mode changes, Result List sorting by relevance, date,
source or author, Persistent links to searches, Changes to E-mailing and
Saving persistent links.

EBSCOadmin Redesign:
Featuring a totally new user interface, designed for easier navigation and
including the "tabbed" look of EBSCOhost; Logical regrouping of key
EBSCOadmin functions: Customizing Services, Authentication, Reports and
Database Title Lists; Administrators can preview their profile changes on
EBSCOhost; Administrators will be able to set up EBSCOadmin users with
individual security levels; Enhanced statistics and reporting.
