BCR (Bibliographical Center for Research) is holding a free trial of
streaming Web products of four vendors. The products are geared to K-12
and children's resources, medical resources and music resources.

The vendors are:
 wired.MD
 Classical International
 Aims Multimedia
 United Learning

Selected products from these vendors will be available to you and your
patrons free of charge from September 2 through October 31, 2003.  This
trial is generally available to all libraries in the BCR region (AK, CO,
HI, IA, ID, KS, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY). You may participate in the trial
even if your library already subscribes to some of the products included
in it.

To participate in the trial, go to: http://www.bcr.org/trial/trialform.html
and sign up on behalf of your library.  Information on accessing the
trial databases will be provided to you electronically.

Please be prepared to provide feedback on the different databases that are
part of the trial, including the content of the resource, its ease of use,
its suitability for K-12/children, and whether or not you would recommend
the product for licensing.

Please make use of these trial opportunities ASAP. BCR will be working
with the vendors involved to try to establish group subscriptions.

Future announcements of these group subscriptions will be via e-mail.
Please provide us with the e-mail addresses of any staff members who
should be alerted.
