Position Announcement
Administrative Services Librarian / Assistant to the Library Director



Responsibilities.  The Administrative Services Librarian / Assistant to the
Library Director  will be responsible for implementing and developing
library policy; provide planning for Serials Department and Library in
general; monitor library budget and responsible for expenditures according
to budget allocations; supervise and manage Serials Department; provide
reference and bibliographic instruction; teach Lib. 127 and support the
Interim Library Director as needed.

Responsibilities listed above may be modified based on qualifications of
applicant offered the position.

Position Period:  Limited duration:  September  1,  2004 -  June 30, 2005.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's  Degree is required with preference given to
applicants with an MLS from an ALA accredited  school  and library
experience.

Starting Salary:  Bachelor's Degree  $33,433
		      MLS Degree:  $38,298
                  Salary placement will be based on degree level of
applicant offered the position.
