developments, the ORSLA chapter and PORTALS are offering another virtual
seminar event.  On Friday, January 23, 2004, please join us for:

Building Communities of Practice (COPs) for Knowledge Exchange: Roles for
Information Professionals

Your Virtual Seminar Leaders for this event will be:
Deb Wallace (Knowledge & Learning Strategy Consultant, Sun Financial  &
Co-Author, Leveraging Communities of Practice for Strategic Advantage) and
Linda Pauloski (Manager, Library Resource Centre, Dofasco, and Co-Author,
Dofasco Community Guidebook).

In this session learn about:

·         The concepts and component of communities of practice as knowledge
exchange forum.
·         The integral role information professionals can play in the
community's success. An approach for creating communities aligned with
strategic imperatives.
