[Libs-Or] February 6th Teleconference (Free) -- Realities of Digital Reference: New Tools

Friday February 6th from 9:00-11:00am PT is the first program in the 
Reference teleconference series, "Realities of Digital Reference: 
Challenges, Tools, and Opportunities." The February 6th presentation, 
New Tools for Enhancing Digital Reference, will focus on tools, 
strategies and techniques to help your staff deliver high quality 
service. New products for cross-platform searching, serials management, 
scheduling, and more will be demonstrated.  Presenters are from public 
and academic libraries and include Flo Denny, Nancy Huling, Sarah 
McCord, Richard Dougherty and Michael Jackson. Details are available at

 Products to be demonstrated include Ex Libris: SFX and MetaLib; III: 
AirPac, Metafind, MetaBridge, and WebAccessManagement; Serials 
Solutions; Ebsco: Ebsco A-Z; Datavision: Vocera; Illinois Alliance: 
VoIP: Minitex: Webinars; Schedule Source Software Inc: work scheduling 
software.

The State Library and the Bibliographical Center for Research (BCR) are
co-sponsoring the teleconference series broadcast by the College of DuPage,
funded in Oregon by LSTA. The satellite teleconference is free to Oregon 
libraries and
any library may register to downlink programs on BCR's Web site
