[Libs-Or] ALA and Cuba

I don't mind seeing ALA stand up for intellectual freedom around the 
world.  As far as Cuba goes, I agree with Nat Hentoff and Karen 
Schneider.  ALA's response to the imprisonment of dissidents who were 
operating lending libraries outside of government control was lame. We 
should have strongly condemned Cuba's actions and called for the 
immediate release of the dissidents.  ALA blew it. --> Jim
