[Libs-Or] Patricia Cutright Resigns Position

Release from the Provost's Office, Eastern Oregon University:
Patty Cutright has resigned as the Director of Pierce Library, effective 
July 16, 2004. Patty has accepted the position of Director of Libraries at 
the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.

Cutright has served EOU since June 1986, and has been recognized for her 
work with the EOU Outstanding Administrative Faculty Award, the Oregon 
Librarian of the Year Award from the Oregon Library Association and 
national recognition from the American Library Association. Patty has led 
collaborative efforts to develop the Pioneer Library System, the 
Orbis-Cascade Alliance as well as the CORE legislative initiative for 
Oregon libraries.

We congratulate Patty and wish her all the best in her new endeavors.
