[Libs-Or] Outreach Round Table Scholarship Awarded - OLA 2004 Conference

I am very pleased to announce the recipient of this year's Outreach Round Table Scholarship Award for the two day registration to the OLA 2004 Conference in Eugene.

Rocío Espinoza is a part time Bilingual Library Assistant at the Cornelius Public Library where she conducts special tours and orientation sessions for Latino youth and adult groups.  She also works at the Hillsboro Shute Park Library as the Spanish Outreach Libros Coordinator providing pre-school children, parents, care providers, and other  members of the Latino community with information (via story-times to schools, youth groups, and childcare centers) about Library services and programs.

Her selection was based on working in Outreach Services 20 or more hours a week at an Oregon Library.  Her positions fit very well with this year's conference theme of "Diversity, Not Window Dressing".
