 The following election results are all unofficial.

WCCLS levy #34-77 -  $48 million 5 year levy 26¢/thousand ­ $35.6 million
for library service., $8.9 million for support services and $1 million for
arts and cultural programs. Would restore and maintain countywide library
service.
Yes ­ 44,382 (52%)
No ­ 40,330 (48%)
Voter turnout ­ 40.14%

 
City of Stayton -   4 year  local option tax of $260,000 per year
($.68/thousand), beginning in fiscal year 2005-06 to partially fund the
library, swimming pool and park programs. Library support would maintain
existing service levels and current book and audio-visual budgets, establish
a computer replacement schedule and make some allowance for increased
staffing and books if the library is expanded.

Josephine County Library ­ (Measure #17-1) 3 year operating levy of $.20 per
thousand of assessed valuation, beginning in 2004. Would generate over
$2,700,000 in the three years.
