Hello

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to vote for
Christine Lind Hage for President. I worked as a volunteer at Christine's
library in Michigan and was always impressed by her and the great system
she's built.

Her website outlines her qualifications, platform, responses to questions
received from various groups, and endorsements. The top ten reasons to
vote for her exemplify her practical approach to libraries.

I am wholeheartedly supporting Christine. She has demonstrated a lifetime
commitment to libraries. As a student she worked in both academic and
public libraries. She is a former supervisor of both adult and
circulation services in a public library and has been the director of
three large public library systems. She has taught in an accredited MLS
program as well as in a library technician program at a community college.
Christine is the current director of the Clinton-Macomb Public Library.

Christine has been an ALA member since 1971. She has served a term as PLA
president, multiple terms as a Councilor, and as a chair and member of
several ALA committees. Christine is an idea person because she willingly
listens to the ideas of others and balances those with the needs of the
larger group. She is unafraid to ask the difficult questions and has a
demonstrated commitment to furthering the discussion of how to advance
librarianship and our professional association.

I hope that you will join me in voting for Christine Lind Hage. I also
encourage you to discuss her candidacy with your colleagues and staff.

Sincerely,

Robin Champieux
