Hello Everyone,
This Wednesday, April 20th, the Portland Downtown Librarians' brown bag
lunch will be at the Northwest Library, a Multnomah County library
located at 2300
NW Thurman Street. The library opens right at noon, so we'll meet inside
the meeting room a few minutes after. Be sure to bring a beverage with
your lunch! TriMet bus routes 15, 17, and 77 all have stops close by.
Next month, Carol McMenamin will host our meeting at The Oregonian! We
had a great time and learned a lot about the paper last time we Carol
hosted.
The date is May 18, the 25th anniversary of Mt. St. Helen's eruption.
In June, Kathy Hemphill will host our meeting at David Evans and
Associates, Inc.
The streetcar extension is now running, and stops a half a block from
their offices,
and it's within Fareless Square.
The Portland Downtown Librarians meet on the third Wednesdays of most
months
for a brown bag lunch at different libraries around Portland. Everyone
is welcome!
