[Libs-Or] New Library Development Manager

I am pleased to announce that MaryKay Dahlgreen has accepted our offer 
of a promotion to be the new Program Manager for Library Development 
Services.

As most of you know, MaryKay has been our Youth Services Consultant 
since 1996.  She has done excellent work here, coordinating the Ready 
to Read Grant program, consulting with and training library staff, and 
coordinating the Oregon Center for the Book.

Before coming here in 1996, MaryKay worked for eight years at the King 
County Library System in Washington State where she held several 
professional and supervisory positions.  She also was a supervising 
librarian at the Albany Public Library for over four years.  MaryKay 
holds a Master of Library Science degree from the University of 
Washington.

MaryKay will begin her new job on March 1st.  We will start a national 
search for her replacement at that time, and hope to fill the position 
this spring.
