Statewide Digital Reference Services Librarian

Position Description: The Multnomah County Library is seeking qualified
applicants for a full-time, permanent Statewide Digital Reference
Services Librarian position. This is a professional-level position,
funded by the Library Services and Technology Act, responsible for
coordinating all aspects of Oregon's Statewide E-Reference Initiative.
The Project Librarian will provide ongoing management, technical
support, training, quality control, knowledge base development, and
evaluation of the e-reference project. 

 

Qualifications: Experience: No experience is required, however, a
minimum of 2 years of digital reference and project management
experience is desirable. A proficiency in web-related tools such as
HTML, CSS, and database applications is also desired. Training:  An ALA
accredited Master's degree in Library Science or its equivalent.
