[EASTER Johnette]

The Multnomah County Department of Libraries seeks the services of an
independent contractor to develop a coordinated statewide early literacy
initiative plan featuring public libraries as the leaders in the
implementation of the best evidence-based practice.

 

Funding for this grant was awarded by the Oregon State Library from its
2005 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) annual allotment.
Multnomah County Library received $79,779 for the project.   Multnomah
County Library cannot exceed a $68,000 contract for expert services
resulting from this RFP. 

 

      Proposals are due no later than 4:00 PM, Monday, January 24, 2005.
Late proposals will not be accepted. 

 

Timeline: 

Projected Start Date of Contract:  February 1, 2005

Projected Schedule for Regional Meetings: March - August 2005

Due Date for Draft Plan: September 1, 2005

Due Date for Final Plan: December 1, 2005

Projected End Date of Contract:  December 31, 2005
