WHEN: Wednesday, April 6, 2005 - 8:00 A.M. to Noon.
WHERE: Holiday Inn Express (Airport) on Columbia, Mt. Hood Room
FEE: $40.00
SPONSOR: OLA Technical Services Round Table
Are there particular types of licenses or publishers that give you
trouble? Particular terms or conditions that are fuzzy to you? You can
help make this class even more useful! TSRT wants your questions so that
Diane can tailor her class to fit the audience. Please email any
questions or issues regarding licenses for electronic materials
(subscriptions, books, databases) as soon as possible to:
Debbie.Hackleman at orst.edu
Diane handles the licensing for OHSU and has experience with a wide
variety of licensing situations. This will be a basic class for people
with little experience with electronic licenses. We will be covering
aspects of understanding and deciphering the language of licenses, as
well as what can and cannot be negotiated.
To register for the preconference, use the forms available on the OLA
Conference Web Site:
http://www.olaweb.org/conference/
The OLA Conference program and hotel information is also available.
Class size is limited to 24 people so please don’t wait to register!
