MEETINGS THAT WORK! The Art of Facilitation
A workshop co-sponsored by the Washington Area Library Trainers (WALT)
and the Washington State Library; presented by Guila Muir.
March 25, 2005
"Great meeting! I can't believe how much we accomplished!"
How often do you leave a meeting thinking that?!
Learn how to focus group dialogue, making your meetings more productive.
Learn what is meant by the "facilitator frame of mind;" and understand
when using a facilitator is appropriate. Write an outcome-based agenda
that can be used immediately. You'll learn (and demonstrate!) essential
facilitator skills and unique question types that will help you focus a
conversation, and you'll be able to respond effectively to difficult or
conflictive group dynamics.
Target Audience: Anyone who attends meetings!
