[Libs-Or] Planning for Statewide Early Literacy Initiative Meeting in Eugene

The Planning for Statewide Early Literacy Initiative mid-valley regional
meeting for Oregon Libraries will take place on Thursday October 6 at the
Eugene Public Library.  The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 am and run
until 4pm.   If you are at all interested in how your library can be
promoting early literacy and coordinating with other community groups who
work with parents and young children, please come to this meeting.

 All library staff and volunteers who are interested in learning more about
the Statewide Early Literacy Initiative are welcome.   Please come with your
thoughts and suggestions to help us develop this plan.

jharold at ci.springfield.or.us if you are planning on attending. We will be
