[Libs-Or] 2006 Celebrations

Hello-

I have been asked to come up with a listing of celebrations that will be
taking place in Oregon over the next year.  The requestor is not really
interested in annual celebrations -- he's more interested in special
commemorations or dedications that would have a impact on more than a
local level.  He would prefer ones large enough to draw people from
other states.  I have sent him the events calendar from the Tourism
Commission, but thought I would draw on the collective group knowledge
to see if anyone can give me other suggestions.
