Are you ready to put your new master’s degree in library science to work?  Then this job may be what
you are looking for.  The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District has a current reference librarian
opening at the Vancouver Community Library (full time, 40 hours per week).  This is an entry level
position for an individual who has received their MLS in the past 18 months or will receive it
within the next six months (documentation will be required).

The successful candidate will provide reference, information and reader’s advisory service to
patrons of all ages, participate in the development and updating of electronic information content
and the use of digital tools for communication and information sharing.

Recent library work experience in a clerical or technical position or completion of a library
internship or practicum preferred.  $2,894 per month, excellent employer provided benefits package.
