[Libs-Or] Oregon Book List

Some time ago I put out a request from the Oregon Dept. of Tourism for a list of librarian's favorite books in which Oregon figured prominently, i.e. "location as character".  I met with two ODT staff members and they were thrilled with the thoughtful responses that you contributed.  I am attaching the complete list for everyone to enjoy.  Suggestions came from Corvallis, Estacada, Eugene, Hillsboro, Madras, McMinnville, Medford, Newport, Port Orford, Salem, Tigard, Tillamook, and Oregon City.
 
This project is not yet completed.  The list will be refined a little more, based on ODT's criteria.  In the mean time, we are discussing other ways Oregon librarians can continue to share their knowledge and expertise in the area of Oregon literature.
