Library Associates seeks a Solo Law Librarian for an exciting
opportunity in a law firm based in Law Vegas Nevada. The Librarian will
manage the daily operation and overall functions of two Nevada branch
libraries (main and satellite) in addition to providing research /
reference services for the firm's attorney's and staff.

 

Responsibilities

*        Provide overall management of two of the firm's libraries;

*        Provide legal and non-legal research and reference services for
the firm's attorney's and staff;

*        Provide library training to attorney's and staff;

*        Direct and plan the firm's training program along with the IT
Manager.

 

Qualifications

*        MLS from an accredited ALA institution or equivalent degree;

*        Experience using LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, AutotrackXP, and
Dun & Bradstreet;

*        Must have experience training attorneys and staff on databases
and online research tools;

*        Familiarity with electronic court filing, electronic discovery
and records management, preferred.
