[Libs-Or] Planning for a library district?

[Union County Library District Project]

Anyone currently involved in - or even thinking about - the idea of forming
a library district in Oregon is invited to a networking and information
sharing meeting, 9:30 -3:30, Thursday, September 21 at the Hood River
Library.

The meeting will focus on the issues being faced by various districting
projects and the experiences of those who have recently been on the ballot.
In addition to sharing information with other library folk, we will have the
benefit of a guest's expertise in the legal aspects of district formation.
Tom Sponsler, an attorney experienced with library district issues, will
join us for the day.

No matter where you are in the process, we would be pleased to have you join
us.
